Well, we’re here!

When we wrote our last post on October 15, “Nearing the Finish Line,” we had no idea just how far from the finish line we actually were. A predictable rookie mis-judgement, as it turns out.

So we have not posted until now for a couple simple, humble reasons:
1) We had no time. Literally.
2) We wanted to share good news with you. I.E. – IT IS FINISHED!

We are happy to be able to overcome both reasons today. “The Child” is finishing up processing at the replicators this week and will be shipped out to screening hosts next week in time for the 20th premiere date.

Some of the highlights of the good news:

Over 300 individuals have signed up to host a screening of “The Child” in their community! is spear-heading the coordination of these screenings, as afore mentioned, all of us at Watchman Cinema had absolutely no time to do so.

We are extremely honored and humbled by the trust people have put in us and this documentary by committing to host a screening.

However, for the more skeptical, we are also working out a way to preview a low-quality version of the film online, to review its content before committing to support the film. If this applies to your situation, you can email to learn if and how you can preview the film.

Work continues, but most of us have made significant headway into paying off our sleep deficit. During the last three weeks of production, the post-production crew members were literally sleeping and working in shifts round the clock to get the film done. Tackling unpreventable technical difficulties and unforseen, curve-ball, turn-of-events, we give God all the glory for having a finished product to share with you all. 🙂

Thank you for your continued support – it also gave us motivation during our darkest hours. 🙂

We’ll check back in soon.

  1. HURRAY!!! May God be glorified and His truths march on…I pray blessings be returned in full measure to all of you.

  2. May God bless you all for your faithful work to save our children and families.

  3. Why don’t you make the full documentary available for free on youtube? I know it cost money to produce, but…do you really think some of the people who need to hear your message are going to pay to watch it?

    • Hello Annette,
Thanks for the question! To be honest, we would offer it free online if we could. However, there are several reasons not to, not the least being that we do need to cover costs. We understand not everyone can pay to watch it, which is why is generously offering “The Child” for a suggested donation – payment is not required. The other significant reason is security. When something is on the internet, it is inevitably available for download and tampering. Watchman Cinema has a trust with the interviewees of the documentary that we will do everything in our power to protect the product and their image.
Thank you again for visiting the blog!
